'Imam Ali (AS)' director Mir-Baqeri to helm new biopic

Prominent Iran filmmaker Davoud Mir-Baqeri is set to direct new biopic series on the magnanimous wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Hazrat Khadija (SA).

The screenplay for 'Hazrat Khadija (SA)' is now in the final revising stage and the studies have been performed by Majid Rezabala.

Mir-Baqeri also intends to make another biopic series late this year depicting life of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) companion “Salman the Persian”.

‘Imam Ali (AS)', ‘Mokhtarnameh’ and ‘Lost Innocence’ make Mir-Baqeri's other historical series on the life of most influential religious figures of Islam.

Hazrat Khadija was a brilliant and pure lady who served Islam greatly. She made the greatest efforts as a perfect, wise and magnanimous woman. Therefore, she is distinguished as the first believer of Islam.
